bo' kaap street scenes

September 7, 2010

(Photos: Janine Joles)

I'm currently very busy wrapping up work + home before we leave for Italy on the 19th. Part of my preoccupation also includes preparing a backlog of photo posts for Jardino, so that things won't come to a grinding vacation halt over the 6 week duration that I'm away. So although I'll be short on words in the following two months, I'll never be short on colourful pics for ye' all to enjoy! That said, here are a couple more vibrant street scenes from the historical Bo' Kaap district in the heart Cape Town. Ciao amici!

  2. Love the street scenes travel shots. You'll have an amazing time in Italy I'm sure --best wishes and safe travels. (thought about posting for a sec, but then too much to deal at end of long travel days, so have to content myself w/reading a few favorite blogs)

  3. Wonderful colors and I love the slightly exotic feeling – reminds me of a Grecian island! Six weeks in Italy? Oh my, I will try not to be jealous. But I also can't wait to see the images you bring back. Have a marvelous time, Janine! xo – g
