Hello everyone. I hope that this week's treating you well. I'm sun-kissed and feeling energised after returning from a mid-week location shoot on a beautiful wine farm in Somerset West. Since I'm feeling kind of chirpy, I thought I'd begin sharing with you today a little more about my trip to Italy.
Although I'm jumping ahead on the timescale - let's start with our weekend visit to Venice. To be honest, I have mixed feelings for this historical beauty on the water since Venice is VERY busy by day and is sadly somewhat of a tourist trap. Therefore the only way to experience her true charm I feel, is to wake up early and explore her many secrets at sunrise. Which is exactly what we did. The soft muted colours, the deserted streets and empty squares, the contrast of architecture reflected in glassy water, made Venice by morning's first light one of Italy's most enchanting cities... but you had better enjoy the magic while it lasts, for soon her endless labyrinth of streets and canals will be bustling with the touristy masses once more.
