There really are no words to describe how I felt that first morning in Italy standing on the shoreline looking across the sparkling waters of Lago di Garda. I remember thinking to myself, "I've died and gone to heaven." The weather was fine, the air crisp and clear. With my heart wide open, I felt an unforgettable sense of peace and pure contentment. I'll go as far as saying, it was the happiest moment of my life.

Woow, these pohots are beautiful! Heaven! Looks like great place to visit there!!
ReplyDeleteYour description gave me chills, Janine. How absolutely incredible to experience that moment and to record so of its beauty with your camera. The happiest moment of your life – I can see why. Wow. xo – g
ReplyDeleteYour photos are great from Lake Garda. Once a year we go to the lake on vacation. We try other places, but the lake in all its beauty draws us back every year. At least for a few days.
ReplyDeleteHey, I just rediscovered your blog from when we did the Alphabet Walk. What lovely photos! Italy is definitely one of my favorite places to visit...and your photos made me want to go back more than ever.

ReplyDeleteOh my I need to go! Please share where on the lake shore you were. If there were a pin on the map that would be perfect:) Thanx for sharing, now I can dream!
ReplyDeleteThank you ladies - looks like my lakeside pics have caused some travel fever :) Julie, if you want to visit Lake Garda you must see Riva del Garda (these photos) and the very pretty west coast town, Gargnano. There are so many more to add to that, but these two we enjoyed exploring the most! Enjoy, xo
