big shot, big difference

In some cases you just have to agree — bigger IS better! Bigger simply means you're able to dive more freely into a picture, swim about, enjoy some love-stroke, until finally that point of visual satiation is blissfully reached.

I hope that today's "big shots" will give you the chance to put these thoughts to the trial. Incidentally, you may notice that I don't regularly give detailed descriptions of the photos published here. For that little extra, and often sporadic, information I recommend that you click on the image you like to follow the link through to my Flickr stream. There you'll find all sorts of location and other trivia particulars related to the images.

Happy explorations, and have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Sorry...think I half deleted my comments. OK--once more :) Love your big shots, which I think I sometimes forget when just focusing on what's around me. And I really can't wait to do more armchair travel through you when you move to Italy! No pressure :)

  2. The size of the pictures I like very much. In the photos, there is much to discover and the size has a different effect on me. The photos in b / w I find particularly beautiful. Very appropriate.

  3. You are so right--the bigger the picture, the better... there so many ornate, beautiful details in the architecture in your photos that you would be doing them an injustice if you made them smaller. Basically, I could stare at these for a very long time--great shots!

  4. I agree with all the above comments, the big images really do the details justice. They really took my breath away for a second, so much prettiness! Enjoy your weekend with your mom and sister, I'm spending today with my mom too. Always great! And thank your for your sweet comment:)
